Ablon
Ablon (also known as hilot) is a traditional, holistic, Filipino hands-on manual therapy that releases stagnant states to allow the return of the body’s natural flow through various manipulation movements, including joint mobility, pressure point, and massage. It addresses issues in the bones (tulang), joints (suop), muscle (lasag), tendons/ligaments (pennet), and the various channels of the body (urat).
Ablon is good for:
► Various musculoskeletal tensions, imbalances, or fatigue
► Limited or strained mobility
► Digestive system relief (bloating, cramping, acid reflux, etc.)
► Stress relief, relaxation, realigning with the body
Indigenous to the Northwestern Philippines, ablon is a form of hilot taught to me by Manursuro Virgil Mayor Apostol (author of "Way of the Ancient Healer: Sacred Teachings from the Philippine Ancestral Traditions"). His ablon practice is the culmination of wisdom inherited from his healing and combat arts lineage and teachers.
I may incorporate some energy work, and with your consent, perform remote viewing (a sort of energetic scan) of your body.
My work is based in so-called Chicagoland area (lands of the Bodwéwadmi, Hoocąk, Kaskaskia, Kiikaapoi, Myaamia, Peoria, and Sioux peoples).
